Woman of the Match against St. Joseph Academy
Catherine- Varsity player; showed leadership on and off the field. She read the game really well, making plays and opportunities happen. She executed a lot of tackles, positioning her self in the correct areas on the field to make a difference in the play. Catherine stood out from the others with her great fitness and her never quitting attitude. Looking forward to an exciting season with Catherine.
Jeri' - backs captain on JV, debut as starting scrum half. Hard work at practice and eagerness to learn all about her position paid off as she was integral part of the game: at all the rucks, in them when needed, kicked, penalties, helped lead her team on the field. Woman of the Match against Toledo
Shamaya- Varsity player; stepped up and into a leadership role as flyhalf for us this week. She helped call and successfully execute several plays during the game. She also attempted and completed several of our conversion kicks. Shamaya converted 7 kicks and made 1 try for a total of 19 points in our victory over Toledo.
Woman of the Match against Perrysburg
Lexi- Jv player; scoring not only her first try ever but sneaked in a second one! Another great game Lexi played in by dominating the inside center position. Lexi is improving every game and becoming comfortable in her position. Lexi held the back line and made a huge impact on the defense side with her huge tackles. Good job Lexi, cant wait to see what more you have in store for our season.
